Penthouse Lynmouth Bay is a luxury sea-view duplex apartment occupying the top two floors of one wing of Lynton Cottage.

Accessed via a lift that brings guests out by its front door (or stairs), Penthouse Lynmouth Bay offers guests reverse level living. The three large double bedrooms and two bathrooms are all on the entry level (the second floor of the building), while the contemporary open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is reached by a small internal staircase.

The master bedroom is extremely large and boasts a king-size bed, a seating area from which to enjoy the sea view, a TV as well as benefitting from its own en-suite bathroom.

The second bedroom also boasts a king-size bed and has stunning sea views and shares a family shower room with the third bedroom which can be configured as a super-king bed or as a pair of twins.

All of the beds feature luxurious 400 thread count bed linen, and bath and hand towels are provided.

While the bedrooms are all situated in the old part of the listed building, the upper floor is a loft conversion and has a more contemporary feel. There are beams running the length of the top floor (some height restriction along the edges), and no fewer than three balconies, offering guests the ideal spot to drink in the views.

The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, hob and extractor fan, as well as a fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. In addition, a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine is provided along with a selection of capsules for guests to enjoy.

The seating area boasts two sofas, a swivel chair and a chaise longue, as well as several side tables and floor cushions. 

There’s a smart TV, X-box with games, and plenty of board games and DVDs provided.
As the only three bedroomed apartment on site, Penthouse Lynmouth Bay has use of two off-road parking spaces in the building’s car park. Guests are also able to enjoy the communal gardens and seating areas.

The apartment and grounds are non-smoking environments and pets are not permitted.

Lynton and Lynmouth are two halves of a charming little town with much to offer, including some stunning walks. Within easy walking distance there are some excellent restaurants, as well as numerous cafes and pubs. The local shops offer visitors a wealth of choice including artisan arts and crafts, locally produced food and drink, gifts shops, leatherware, antiques, clothing, soaps, candles and art galleries to name a few. There’s even a heritage cinema serving Lynton which shows new releases as well as children’s films throughout the school holidays.
