Lynton & Lynmouth are both built on steep hillsides which is reflected in the gradient in many areas of the villages. Lynton Cottage is situated over 3 floors with multiple, uneven steps and staircases, plus the car parking which is at a lower level.

The guest accommodation is a Grade II listed building, built in 1815. Due to the nature of it's construction, we regret the premises are not suitable for people requiring the permanent use of a wheelchair.

Parking
There is parking for guests and at the end of the car park where it widens, we have some extra large spaces that measure 5.8m long x 2.8m wide. Passengers can be dropped next to entrances if required.

Entrances
Different apartments have different entry points.

For Bayview Tower, the car park is at a lower level than the apartment entrance. From the car park to the front entrance, there are:

• 6 steps each 180mm high to the half landing;
• 3 steps each 180mm high to half landing;
• 3 steps each 180mm high (with handrail) to Terrace outside Reception door;
• 1 step into reception hall each 200mm high.

There is also a rear entrance to Bayview Tower, accessed via the West Wing entrance. This entrance doesn’t involve any steps.

For Penthouse Lynmouth Bay, This apartment is accessed via the West Wing entrance.
This is via a path with a slight gradient, leading through the main entrance door, into the West Wing lobby. Directly in front is a two-person lift which gives access up to the second floor, which is the entry level for the Penthouse. Once at the second floor, there is then an additional set of stairs, up to the penthouse level. Once inside the Penthouse, there are:

• 5 steps at 220mm High lead to half landing 890mm W x 840mm Wide;
• 8 more steps lead up to the Lounge floor.
